Firefighting's Finest Moving & Storage

Firefighting's Finest Moving & Storage, also known as DFD Movers, Inc., is a Dallas, Texas, moving company founded in 2001 by military veterans Derrick Potter and Patrick Dodson. The founders met at the Fort Worth Fire Academy and began moving families on their days off from the firehouse. Today, the company continues to operate with a service-first mindset, employing a drug-free workforce of trained, background-checked, and uniformed team members rather than using brokers or day labor.

The company is FMCSA licensed and insured. They offer a wide range of services, including residential, commercial, corporate, apartment, military, and senior moving, as well as professional packing, unpacking, and climate-controlled storage. Operating from locations in Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, and Austin, they provide local, long-distance, and statewide moving services, along with specialized handling for special care items.
